Wonderful interview! Palliative Care consult etiquette is somewhat unique from other consults even though certain basics hold true. Learning to finesse our consults is a skill and an art that must be paid attention to as part of the skill set that goes along with providing Palliative Care itself. It is essential to ensuring the success of a palliative care service. We should not assume that every Palliative Care provider has those unique and sometimes touchy skills. Perhaps it should be a part of formal Palliative Care curriculae. Good subject. Thank you for the focus on it.
