Interdisciplinary Palliative Care Conference to be Held April 30

The NYU School of Medicine will be holding its annual Interdisciplinary Palliative Care Conference on April 30, 2019 in Alumni Hall at NYU Langone Health in New York City.

The conference will focus on the role the interdisciplinary health care team plays in providing quality care. The agenda will cover perspectives from physician and interdisciplinary care providers. Topics will include: mindfulness, narrative medicine, building and teaching resilience, coping with moral distress, spirituality, and the systems approach to wellness. The conference will utilize panel discussions, breakout sessions, and interactive presentations to engage the audience on the important topic of resilience.
