Early Palliative Care: A Video for Medical Professionals

The Usher Institute of Population Health Sciences and Informatics’ Primary Palliative Care Research Grouphas created an informative video intended for health care professionals interested in promoting early palliative care. It is available in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French.

This short video aims to help professionals better identify people living with progressive illnesses, to assess their needs in a timely manner, and to start discussing and planning future care with them. It also underlines the benefits of palliative care which, according to the video, improves quality of life, and in some cases, may even prolong life.
