CAPC Rolls Out New Courses and CAPC Designation

CAPC has added new online courses to its robust curriculum designed to provide an integrated approach to palliative care skills for all frontline clinicians. Course units include Pain Management, Communication Skills, Palliative Care Across the Settings, Building Your Program and Leadership Support. The entire staff of every CAPC member institution can take advantage of CAPC courses.  All courses are case-based, interactive and provide free continuing education credits to all users.

“Improving access to palliative care for all seriously ill people requires that every clinician have basic skills in pain and symptom management and in communication about what is most important to patients and their families,” says CAPC Director Diane E. Meier. For an overview of all the benefits of CAPC membership, click here.
